Our aim is to run a clean, spam-free directory.

When we receive your listing request, our editors will visit your site in order to confirm subject matter, details and relevance.

The Short

If your site is business focused, we'd love to list it. If you are familiar with the standards required by Yahoo Directory and Business.com, you'll find our process very similar.

If we don't list your site, we will advise you, and refund you.

The Long

We'd like to avoid listing poor quality sites.

Please ensure that your site is:

* Complete (i.e. not under construction)

We do not accept the following:

* Spam sites of low value to an end user. If Google, Yahoo or MSN won't list a site, we won't either.

* Mirror sites. Mirror sites are defined as sites with identical content appearing under separate URL's
* Redirects
* Hate sites or illegal content.
* Sites consisting mostly of affiliate links or banners with little or no unique content intended for an end-user.
* Affiliate links directly to a merchant's site. The link must resolve to your site.
* Tracking and/or affiliate codes in URLs.
* Off-topic listings. The directory editors decision on description, title and link data is final.

Step Two

Search the directory for a category that best fits your site. Compare your site with those already listed. Once you've found an appropriate category, click Add URL. Note: Editors may alter categorization if a site is determined to be better suited to a different category.

Step Three

Fill out the form.
Title and Main Activity

Specify the name of your site and describe what the user can do on your site, or how they benefit from visiting your site:

For example...

* Book Buyer International - Buy books, CDs, games and posters.
* Legion - Find information about the Roman empire and early European culture.
* Gamer Monthly - Play online games and sign up for a gaming news letter.

Try to place an active verb or two in your description. It makes for a livelier directory and attracts users to your site. It is very important that your link text accurately reflects how the end user will interact with your site. Editors may re-word links if they cannot locate the material or services described and their decision is final.

Description

Describe the content of the site. Descriptions should be objective and not promotional, and should reflect the content of your About Us page, or similar.

A complete listing may look something like this:

BangDrum - provides categorization and citation data for search engines
A directory featuring human reviewed site listings. Webmasters can list their site for a one time review fee of $39.95 USD.
Step 4

Make payment via PayPal. Site and link review costs $39.95 This is a one time fee. Please ensure you have followed the guidelines closely. Refunds are possible if your link isn't accepted so long as we can determine that you have submitted in good faith.
Step 5

Your listing request will be processed within 48 hours (Business Days Mon-Fri). We will send you an email to confirm.
